Determining the optimal quantity of Petra™ Raft isn’t an exact science. Broadly, increased surface coverage leads to greater sound absorption and reduced echo. As a general guideline, aiming to cover approximately 30% to 50% of the ceiling area typically results in effective sound absorption.

Panels are supplied in standard sizes and are not designed to be cut on-site, as this would expose the raw edge. If you require custom sizes, please get in touch for available options.

Petra™ Raft can be installed using two methods, depending on your ceiling height and design preference:

✔ Suspended Installation – Use our adjustable wire hanging kits to create a floating effect, allowing for precise height adjustment and optimal acoustic performance. Ideal for high ceilings and open-plan spaces.

✔ Direct Fix Installation – Use RotoFast™ Snap-On Anchors to mount the raft directly to the ceiling, providing a seamless, low-profile look while still improving sound absorption. Perfect for low ceilings or areas with limited headroom.
