Sunda™ EasyFix represents our most straightforward acoustic system to install. The process is simple: peel off the backing sheet to expose the self-adhesive, then align the panel on your wall and firmly affix it in place. For added flexibility in positioning, consider applying a thin layer of wallpaper paste beforehand. This allows for minor adjustments to ensure optimal placement of the panel.

Determining the optimal quantity of EasyFix panels isn’t an exact science. Broadly, increased surface coverage leads to greater sound absorption and reduced echo. As a general guideline, aiming to cover approximately 30% to 50% of the wall area typically results in effective sound absorption.

Sunda™ EasyFix panel is made using a combination of high-quality Melamine foam as its core material and the face of the panel is a high-quality fabric to give a premium finish and offers a wide variety of colour choice.

No fixings are required for this product, you simply peel back to reveal the self-adhesive and apply to the surface.

We use Camira Sonus and Cara as standard, but we can manufacture using alternative fabrics on request.

Yes, although we have a standard range of the most popular sizes it is possible to have a customised shape of the Sunda™ EasyFix panel to suit your requirements.

However, there are some limitations in these shapes and max sizes that are possible to manufacture due to weight and panel size. Please get in touch to discuss what’s possible.

When installing Sunda™ EasyFix, you should consider the mounting surface. The right surface should ensure a secure, long-lasting installation.

Suitable surfaces include:

• Drywall/plasterboard – Smooth, even surfaces ideal for panel adhesion.
• Painted Walls – Flat, non-textured paint finishes work well. Avoid glossy paints.
• Concrete – Bare, unpainted concrete is suitable if clean, dry, and free of coatings.
• Plywood – Sturdy, flat plywood provides a good base for panel application.

Proper surface preparation, with the surface being clean, dry, and free of contaminants, is crucial for ensuring a secure, long-lasting bond.

Sunda™ EasyFix comes with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty, providing coverage for any defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty is to ensure peace of mind for our customers, guaranteeing reliable performance and quality assurance.

Yes, Sunda™ EasyFix core board has been tested and offers EN 13501-1:2007 B-s1, d0 and Class O fire rating to BS476: Part 6 and 7, BS 6853 Annex D.8.4 and BS 6853 Annex B2 Fabric facing complies with: Sonus EN1350-1 Class B, s1, d0. / Cara Class 1 to BS476: Part 7 and EN1350-1 Class B, s1, d0.

The EasyFix panel is designed to be a permanent installation and therefore once in place and the adhesive has set it is not possible to reposition.

Following installation on a compatible surface, the EasyFix panel maintains secure positioning for an extended duration, ensuring long-lasting acoustic performance.

Sunda™ EasyFix effectively absorbs direct sound and reflections, it noticeably diminishes noise within an open area. Installing the appropriate number of wall or ceiling panels will achieve a significant improvement, reducing echo and reverberation for a quieter, more tranquil atmosphere. Your delivery will arrive fully packaged and protected on a specific vehicle for the size and weight of your delivery. The panels are generally hand balled off the vehicle unless a specific vehicle type has been requested. Should you have any specific requirements on site or at your premise it is important to notify us on order so that we can discuss suitable options that are available.

Due to the weight of this product we would not recommend installing on to the ceiling. If you are installing EasyFix to the ceiling, an additional silicone adhesive must be used which covers 100% of the panels surface.
